Mountain Sea Properties offers a number of additional services to our tenants. We know from our own experience that managing family vacations can be quite a job. A little local knowledge and some extra help can make your vacation more enjoyable and hassle free. Below are a number of guides, services, and gifts.
Once you have fully paid for your reservation, you'll receive a password to the tenant area, allowing you full access the guides and rental information.
Guides
First Time Visitors Guide to Mount Desert Island and Acadia
A list of the “crème de la crème” of the Mount Desert Island area. If this is your first time visiting the area, this guide is designed to help you spend less time figuring it out and more time having fun.
The Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce "Official Guide" to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park includes information such as dinning, shopping, nightlife, calendar of events, hiking, and wildlife, and is available electronically or in hardcopy at www.barharborinfo.com. This is a great website from which to begin to gather information about the area.
Adam's Restaurant Guide
Mount Desert Island is home to a number of excellent restaurants to please your palate. In your rental home, you will find various dining guides and a file folder full of menus, but what's the local scoop on where we like to eat? Adam's Guide is a collection of some of our favorite places to let someone else do the cooking.

Jen's Local Guide for Kids
Jen has worked with youth on Mount Desert Island for many years and knows the ins and outs of guaranteed fun and adventure. Want to know the most exciting hikes, deepest tide pools, and funniest boat ride? Jen’s list has it all!
Services
Don’t want to deal with cleaning, have a houseful of kids, or staying for multiple weeks? Spend your time exploring and having fun while one of our housekeeping staff fully cleans your rental home. Cleaning includes: changing all bed linens, fresh towels, cleaning the kitchen, cleaning the bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping all floors, dusting, and straightening up all common areas. Price per cleaning:

The Club House - $200
How can kids who are so small require so much STUFF? Let us help make your travels and stay easier with a variety of baby and kid equipment. All prices are weekly and include delivery, setup, and cleaning.

Double stroller great for Carriage Roads- $65 (this stroller is a single pod not two separate seats and is highly recommended for one or two kids and gear)

All items are cleaned prior to and after each use.
Arrive at your rental home to find the fridge and panty stocked with all your favorite foods so that you can spend your first night settling in rather than running around.
Price: $200 + cost of food
Want to unwind from the worries of work and start your vacation with a clean slate? Sore after a long day of hiking and sea kayaking? Or just want to indulge? Whether it's just you, or everyone in your family, a certified massage therapist can come right to your rental home.
Swedish Massage: Swedish massage is most commonly known as “the gentle massage” due to the full hand contact and soft, flowing strokes. Swedish massage is a great choice for first timers or anyone who seeks stress reduction, rejuvenation and an improved outlook on the day.
Deep Tissue Massage: Deep tissue massage is more muscle, ligament, and tendon specific than Swedish massage. Deep tissue massage begins light and progressively deepens. By working within your pressure tolerance we keep you relaxed while we work out the “knots” in your muscles. This is the perfect choice if you experience a lot of muscular tension or simply love a more intense massage.

Love experiencing the best local foods an area has to offer? This Maine canvas bag is crocked full of non perishable local foods such as blueberry pancake mix, our award winning local mustard, maple syrup, chocolates, salsa and more. Perfect for yourself, give as a gift to someone back home, or surprise someone in your group for their birthday or anniversary.

The Maine Adventure Bag for Kids
Ready for an adventure? Let the fun begin from the moment you arrive with an individualized canvas bag brimming with Maine items such as a Lobster stuffed animal, Maine picture book, Acadia National Park coloring book, a locally made sweet treat, loads of information about Acadia National Park, stickers, pencils, tattoos, and lots of other items. A variety of different bags and books allow for each child to have their very own. Best suited for 2-9 year olds.

Who doesn’t love a surprise? There’s nothing better than staring off your vacation by surprising your little one with a birthday party! We’ll prepare your rental house with party decorations, a birthday cake (have a particular favorite flavor?) and our Kids Maine Adventure Bag or for older kids a wrapped gift of Maine books.

Everyone loves a birthday party (even grown ups!). How about celebrating by arriving to your vacation rental to find a birthday bouquet of fresh flowers, a local homemade pie (I can even try and find a particular favorite type) and our Maine Foodie Bag overflowing with local goodies. Can also be ordered as an anniversary package.
